Latch & Release
Two tethers. One chance to let go.
Cut one tether to make a swing. Use Step 0.1s or Run to move time. When the dotted release path points into the tray, cut the remaining tether and Run. Three air pulses can correct your flight.
How the rig works · credits
The dotted curve predicts free flight if all tethers were cut now, ignoring collisions and small air drag. The capsule must rest inside the tray for a moment. Cutting both tethers immediately drops it straight down and misses the tray. Reset restores the rig and all three pulses.
Time can be paused for planning, and Step advances exactly 0.1 seconds. Air pulses add a small horizontal impulse. Tethers are ideal fixed-distance constraints; tray and shelf contacts use the p2-es rigid-body solver. Illustrative physics, not rigging advice.
